We offer a free telephone based service available to anybody in NZ wanting to talk about a methamphetamine related question, issue or problem
Our service is available through the Alcohol Drug Helpline: 0800 787 797
When you call the Helpline, your call will be taken by a Brief Intervention Counsellor. As part of the call you will be offered the chance to speak with a specialist methamphetamine worker. The worker may be available straightaway or may need to call you back.
The Intervention Worker will then talk with you about your general health, drug-taking history and your current concerns. They will also talk about they can help you and make a plan with you to start making the changes you would like to make.
The service is highly confidential, staffed by specialist methamphetamine workers and is available to those using "P" and to others concerned about someone else's use of "P".
This service is funded by the Ministry of Health as part of the Methamphetamine Action Plan.
