ADANZ has an online directory which contains a regionalised list of alcohol and drug treatment and advice services available anywhere in New Zealand. This Directory allows you to click on your town or District Health Board area and see what services are available. An easy-to-follow key will tell you how you can access each service.

There is often a great deal of stigma attached to seeking help for substance use problems. People often have questions about where they can go for help, who do they contact first and what will happen when they go to services. Anyone in New Zealand who is worried about their or someone else’s use of alcohol and/or drugs, can call the alcohol drug helpline (0800 787 797) for information about and help in finding the best service in the directory for you.  Or text us by texting adh to 234 and we will text you back to see how we can help.
